About the Position

Job Title

Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location

Wichita, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Perform occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation patients
Provide ADL and IADL training to support patient independence and functional recovery
Carry up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift, ensuring each patient meets the required 3-hour daily therapy requirement
Accurately track treatment time and charges for each patient to ensure compliance with inpatient rehabilitation requirements
Utilize therapeutic equipment including ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and a full IADL kitchen
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT and SLP staff in a 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of current acute care occupational therapy experience
Active Kansas (KS) Occupational Therapist licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficiency with therapeutic equipment including ESTIM, patient lifts, and ADL/IADL equipment
Experience with EMR documentation (Meditech experience a plus)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
Lymphedema certification
Neurological rehabilitation certification or experience
