Position Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Work Location: Everett WA 98204 Assignment Duration: 6 Months Work Schedule : Sunday 7am - 3:30p, Monday - Wed 1p - 9:30p, Friday 1p - 9:30p, Days off: Thursday & Saturday Work Arrangement: Onsite Note: Washington State DOH Pharmacy Assistant license required; can apply upon receiving the job offer.Position Summary:
Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated refill center. Performs warehouse operations such as packing prescriptions, receiving and shipping.Background & Context:
This position is for a Central Fill pharmacy located in Everett, WA supplying patient-level prescriptions for a large retail national chain. There is no patient interaction, answering of phones, or dealing with insurance companies. This role is fast-paced and team-oriented with a safety-first attitude. Our atmosphere is pick, pack, and ship high-volume automation.Key Responsibilities:
* Processes orders for shipping * Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping * Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping * Loads product into truck * Complies with policies, procedures and SOP's * Adheres to and promotes the Company's Shared ICARE principlesQualification & Experience:
* Pharmacy Assistant certification (WA state requirement) * Able to lift and carry 20-25 pounds * Will be standing/walking for the majority of the shift (8+hours per day) * Requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping * Understands and abides by federal and state HIPAA laws as well as pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy * Demonstrate problem resolution skills: ability to recognize, address and escalate issues to managementWorking Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable):
