Job Description
Machinery Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Machinery Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machine inspections to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
Follow all required safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform scheduled weekly machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Inspect machinery for worn, damaged, or defective parts and replace or repair as needed.
Make and verify machine settings according to process and equipment specifications.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns that production technicians are unable to resolve.
Identify and correct equipment issues that may cause defective or nonconforming products.
Perform maintenance inspections and correct discrepancies when possible.
Complete all required preventive maintenance and maintenance documentation.
Verify equipment is operating properly and producing quality products after maintenance.
Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Production team to address equipment issues.
Qualifications
Previous machinery maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
Ability to safely use hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and respond to equipment breakdowns.
