Our client is currently seeking a Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana


Duration: 3+ Months

Schedule: Day Shift, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call responsibilities


Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing established nursing practices.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education and instruction.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate effectively and manage nursing resources to support quality outcomes.
• Utilize clinical data and evidence-based practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote patient satisfaction, teamwork, and professional nursing standards.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Diploma.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Specialty certification in a clinical area.

Work Environment

• Direct patient care environment with exposure to blood, body fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
• May involve exposure to hazardous medications and healthcare-related waste.
• Requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving, and assisting patients as needed.
